I have always loved Dr。 Seuss books。 I think they are a great books for children to start to learn to read on。 The important message of this book is trying new things。 I think this is a great message for children because most children do not like to try new things。 This book shows that it is good to try new things because in the end you might actually like what you try。

Green Eggs and Ham is a classic by Dr。 Seuss。 I read this book probably a million times as a kid due to my love of rhythm and rhyme I could get lost in。 Reading the book again as an adult made me realize just how silly and pointless the book really seems。 I do like the repetition of key words that would be easy to talk about with kids， like "house and mouse"。 I also like how the pages almost build on each other， having one character saying "you will like it this way！" and the other character is Green Eggs and Ham is a classic by Dr。 Seuss。 I read this book probably a million times as a kid due to my love of rhythm and rhyme I could get lost in。 Reading the book again as an adult made me realize just how silly and pointless the book really seems。 I do like the repetition of key words that would be easy to talk about with kids， like "house and mouse"。 I also like how the pages almost build on each other， having one character saying "you will like it this way！" and the other character is always disagreeing。 I like how at the end of the book the one who has been disagreeing the whole time， tries the thing he refuses and LIKES it！ Good book for picky eaters！ All of the words are smaller words for young children， and I believe anyone over the age of 8 would find this book boring。 Dr。 Seuss is a classic writer and I believe his books are great for beginning readers， but once a child can read on their own， I would recommend reading something different， this is my reasoning behind the 4 star rating。 。。。more
